On Saturday 17 January 2009 Vice Governor Khun Bonfkarn Lipapan has arranged meeting at Hua Hin Municipality regarding water treatment around the Khao Tao Reservoir. In attendance were Public Works Officer, Land Department Officer, Hua Hin Lord Mayor and Water Supply Officer.

During the meeting Vice Governor Khun Bongkarn Limpapan said that the Governor has received complaints from the Khao Tao residents. They worry, that waste water coming from the houses build next to the Khao Tao Reservoir, will pollute it.

After long discussion all present at the meeting have agreed that all houses build around the Khao Tao Reservoir should be surveyed as soon as possible by Water Supply Officer. His job will be to ensure that waste water does not flow to Khao Tao Reservoir.

Land Department Officer Khun Somchai Photipathom said that after the meeting he and his team will survey the area around the reservoir and they will take photos of the area.

Public Works Officer Khun Pichate Panahpong has reminded that there are special rules for construction houses in the area next to Khao Tao Reservoir. The maximum height of the houses can be 6meters. Houses have to be build 12 meters from the road. Construction of hotels, townhouses and condominiums is not allowed.

At the end of the meeting Vice Governor has asked all agencies to come with the plan how to resolve the problem of water supply and waste water treatment in the Khao Tao area as there have been many houses build already and many more will be build in the future.
