On Thursday 02 October 2008 President of Northerners Club Khun Songsak Yarangsi (originally from Chiang Mai Province, now property developer) has arranged party which took place at the club house in Soi 22. To the party came Governor Panchai Bowornratanachai, Chief District Officer Prasit Boonlikit, Lord Mayor Jira Pongpaibul, Mayor's consultant Khun Thawisak Dechapanya and Provincial Media President Tuck Dechapanya. One of the aims of the party to exchange views in a friendly atmosphere how to support local community.

There are over one thousand Northerners living in Hua Hin District and Pranburi District. Some of them are government officials, nurses, doctor, military, policemen and businessmen. Seven years ago Chief of Military Nurses Colonel Nilwan Jareon-ratana, Chief of Medical Division at Thanarat Camp Colonel Jiraporn Prasit-siladhama, Chief of Education at Infantry Camp Colonel Warapan Soodtham and businessman Khun Songsak Yarangsi have established Northerners Club residing in Hua Hin and Pranburi Districts. Since the establishment members of the Northerners Club have always supported local community and many events taking place in Hua Hin District like providing dancers for Hua Hin Festival.

Tonight at the party members have ensured that there is good northern food available. There was very good Kao-Soi, Larb Kou, Larb dip, Kao Soi (Chinese noodle), Ba-me (soup mixed with coconut milk, curry and vegetable) and Larb Dipor Larb Kou (chop pork with lemon and grounded crisp layer of scored rice sticking to the bottom of pot).The smell of the food was fantastic and the food delicious.

While everybody was enjoying good northern food, Khun Sawang has invited guests to sing karaoke. Governor Panchai sang very well four songs. Many of the guests have never seen the Governor sing before. Next Chief District Officer Prasit Boonlikit sang three songs and other have followed. It was very nice atmosphere and everybody had excellent time at the party.

Governor Panchai said that he tried visit the Northerners Club many times but his busy schedule has stopped him come. Tonight he had a free time and could attend the party. He was very please that he could come, meet many members of the club and hear their views on how to help local community. He was grateful to member of the Northerners Club for their support during many Hua Hin events.
