On 24th October 2008 a brand new shopping supermarket Villa Market Hua Hin has been open by Hua Hin Mayor Khun Jira Pomgpaibul and Villa Market owner. To celebrate the opening, during 24-26 October 2008 between 10.00 am - 08.00 pm Villa Market Hua Hin Festival will be held.

Villa Market is a unique success in Thailand. This family-owned business began in 1974 with one store at Bangkok's Sukhumvit Soi 33 established by Khun Surapong  Poosanakom. The store recognized the needs of the community for high quality, imported and local food from Europe, America and Australia. Villa set its policy on one single aim: to provide the best quality groceries available.

Today, there are many locations in the Bangkok metropolitan area, and beyond. Villa Market has gained a solid reputation for quality and service as the original supermarket. Villa Market Hua Hin is the 13th branch of Villa Market JP Limited. The 14th branch will be open around  Jaeng-Watana Rd in Bangkok.

Before the ribbon was cut and the supermarket was open, managing director Khun  Pisit  Poosanakom has thanked Khun Jira was being consultant for the project. In turn Hua Hin Mayor said that with the opening of Villa Market Hua Hin the supermarket circuit is now more complete.
