On 03 September 2007 I have paid a visit to the Wangklaikangwon Industrial and Community Education College in Hua Hin. The College was founded in 1986 by His Majesty the King in order to give the less privilage children chance to study. This magnificent college is located next to Hua Hin beach and is part of His Majesty palace's extensive infrastructure.

The Headmaster Khun Surasak  Srinoy has explained that the college offers courses for students who work and need to acquire new skills in order to change occupation. The college provides learning opportunities in many diverse fields of education and employment like tailoring, catering, beautician, artistic painting, flower arrangments and other skilled professions. Khun Surasak has agreed to take on foreign students living in Hua Hin.

Mission  Statement:  WICEC’s Mission and Vision is orientated towards providing every student with a level of education, which is compentitive with, and comparable to, current international standards. Additionally , our core curriculum subjects are supplemented by highly relevant , practical and” hands on experience “ All academic, theoretical and practical instruction is keenly focused in developing highly competent, multi-skilled and versatile employees and employers alike.
