The Governor Khun Prasong Pitukkisja has opened the festival at 6.30 pm and has thanked Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Committee for their hard work in preparation to the festival. Among guest at the festival was Chief Judge Khun Pralom Kashane, Pol. General Wirat Watchara-Kajorn and Vice Governor. President of Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Khun Tuck Dechapanya has told all present the history behind the Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Festival. He has thanked sponsors of the festival: Boonrod Trading Company, government division and Hua Hin stores. After the opening ceremony students from the Ratchapat Suandusit University gave a traditional Thai dance and music performance after which there was Thai dresses fashion show.

On Sunday 9 December 2007 President of Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Khun Tuck Dechapanya has opened the 4th Hua Hin Thai Cultural Association Festival at the Pone King Phet public park in Hua Hin. The festival this year is taking place during 9 - 12 December and its aim is to preserve Thai culture and customs.
