The Hua Hin Regatta 2007 will be held at the Hua Hin Naval Yacht Club, in the vicinity of Klai Kangwon Roayl Summer Palace.

The Organizing Authority is the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand (YRAT), in conjunction with the Royal Thai Navy (RNT), TAT and the District Authority of Hua Hin. This Organizing Authority shall appoint an Organizing Committee and a Race Committee.

The Regatta will be governed by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF)'s Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2005-2008, the Class Rules applicable to each class, this Notice of Race (NOR) and the Sailing Instructions (SI) which shall be distributed to the competitors later.

The Regatta is classified as a category C event. The Organizing Committee may require competing boats to display event sponsor advetising on the hull.

Entries are open to all members of clubs affiliated to YRAT, individual members of YRAT and members of Clubs / MNA as invited. Entry Form must be submitted to YRAT, at the following address, not later than 15 July 2007.

A limited number of boats and equipment of all classes except Catamaran will be available for charter on a 'first come first serve' basis. Self -provided boats and equipment are accepted and may be subject to measurement control.

Courses to be sailed are as follows:
Thailand Open Championship Races will use course as outlined in RRS 20005 - 2008 Appendix K Addendum A
Vega Rudder Race will use long distance course off Hua Hin, which shall be determined later.

Scoring as prescribed in RRS Appendix A, the Low Point Scoring System will be used.
Several races will be scheduled with a certain number of races to be completed to constitute the Championship.
For the Vega Rudder Race (long distance course), the Portsmouth Yardstick System will be used to handicap the open race.

The Protest Committee will be appointed by the Organizing Committee. Decision of the protest committee will be final and not subject to appeals RRS 70.4.

Prizes
Trophies will be presented to the top three boats of each class with five entries or more.
Replicas of the Perpetual Vega Rudder Royal Trophy will be presented to the winner and five runner-up boats of the Open Class. The winner of platu Class (one design) will also be presented with the same prize.
