On 29 August  2007 in Prachaub Khiri Khan  Province, a group of about one hundred local residents has walked around the  town carrying posters demanding removal of a Matichon reporter from a post at Public Health Department.

The group of residents have made allegations that the reporter is corrupt and takes money from local business people, especially from businesses run illegally.

The group went to the Public Health Department in order to meet the reporter but he was not there at the time. Therefore the group of residents went to the Government Department to meet the Governor.

The Vice-Governor Mr. Sanit Boonkohsakul met the residents and has collected a letter from the group demanding an immediate removal of the reporter from his post at Public Health Department.
