Hua Hin Art Festival 2010

During 15 – 17 April 2010, under the responsibility of Provincial Office and with cooperation of Baan Sillapin Arts Gallery, Cicada Market and VIC Hua Hin will take place 1st Hua Hin Art Festival.

Hua Hin Arts Festival 2010 has been agreed by government sectors in order to restore economy in accordance with Thai Khem Kaeng National Economic Operation Plan 2012 and to highlight arts in cultural social and economic aspects linking all sides for unity.

Office of the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Culture has been assigned to proceed “Creative Cultural Art Festival Project” in 15 strategic provinces; Chiang Mai, Naan, Phayao, Chiang Rai, Phissanulok, Khon Kaen, Udonthani, Roi Et, Ubonratchathani, Phranakhonsri Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, Chonburi, Phuket, Suratthani and Prachuap Khirikhan.

Objectives

To open creativity area expressing cultural stability
To support and promote arts in developing society in other aspects
To value economy with value of arts
To promote tourism

Natives of Prachuap Khirikhan and Phetchaburi Provinces
Thai and foreign tourists

Admire arts among 80 year-old tropical trees with 3 activities;

Visual Arts; drawing, sculpture etc. by artists from Phetchaburi, Ratchaburi and Prachuap Khirikhan Province including 30 artists from Art Market in Bangkok, from 16.00 – 23.00

Performing Arts; singing, dancing and play by 80 professional performers, taking place at AMPHITHEATRE, as well as Mini Light & Sound on the Great Songkran Festival from 18.00 – 23.00
