Hua Hin Municipality is concerned about the rapid spread of flu (H1N1). In Thailand flu normally spreads during June – July.

This year during this period even more preventive measures have been used.  Prachuapkhirikhan Provincial Public Health Office has organized number of cleaning project in government offices and schools to controll the spread of flu (H1N1).

At Hua Hin Municipality, Hua Hin Mayor Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon, has assigned administrative officers to organize Cleaning Days in Hua Hin Municipality offices.

On the Cleaning Day doors, windows, walls, knobs, working desks, chairs, counters, computers, keyboards, toilets and other items which are frequently touched by incomers were cleaned with water, soap or alcohol.  In addition all Hua Hin Municipality staff must comply with suggestions from Public Health Ministry.
