On Thursday 17 January 2008 at the Election Control Department, Election Commission (EC) have arranged a facts finding meeting. EC nullified election results in two constituencies: Klongwarn village and from Park-nam-pran village. The nullified election results mean that re-election will take place and EC have elected re-election committee, which will oversee that the re-election will be fair and free of fraud. Vice Director General Khun Prapart Chatmongkol have overseen preparation of list with candidates. A secret ballot was carried out during the meeting until eight candidates for the re-election were selected. Names of candidates were written on the paper and were put in a box. Then officials opened the ballot papers and announced the candidates names. At the end of the meeting Next Khun Prapart Chatmonkol has anounced that the re-elections will take place in March 2008.
