During Provincial Conciliatory Committee meeting on 11th of March 2008 it has been decided that members of Conciliatory Committees Region 7 should received further training. Chief Judge of Region 7 Mr. Adisak Sornthanarat has expressed his delight that this seminar has been organized. It will give more potential and options to the Courts of Region 7. He has thanked members of Conciliatory Committees of Region 7 for devoting time to attend the seminar. As a result of this training seminar a lot of time and money will be saved when dealing court cases sent to Conciliatory Committees. When case is compromised by Conciliatory Committees the court fee drops from 200,000 Baht to 25,000 Baht.

Mr. Sorawit Limparangsi explained about the principles of compromising hearing. Members of Conciliatory Committees must be impartial in order to perform correctly their duties.

Chief Judge of Region 7 Mr. Adisak Sornthanarat said that the seminar was successful. This seminar will improve knowledge and efficiency of the Conciliatory Committees. Members of Conciliatory Committees must be patient when multiple appointments are made by a court for justice. Conflict Compromisers Association of Court of Justice Region 7 has been established almost 1 year ago and it reduced number of criminal and civil cases being heard by the courts. They also help to reduce further conflicts as the disputing parties would not be angry with each other because of the win-win situation. This compromising method has been implemented in USA and various European countries. Both parties with a case must pay almost one hundred thousand baht for compromising fee in foreign countries, but nothing is charged in Thailand.
