Hua Hin Centennial Celebrations & Red Cross’s Fair

The Offices of Prachuap Khirikhan Province, Hua Hin District and Hua Hin City Municipality with the support of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Prachuap Khirikhan office, has organized Hua Hin Centennial Celebrations & Red Cross’s Fair 2010 at Suan Luang Rachinee Park (Sibkaorai), Hua Hin during 28 April – 9 May, 2010. 

Mrs. Pinnart Charoenphol, director of TAT, Prachuap Khirikhan office, has said Hua Hin has been a well-known resort town among Thai and overseas tourists since the reign of King Rama VII, who had paid a visit during summer and had Klaikangwon Palace, the pride of Hua Hin residents, built here.  Since then small town, Hua Hin, was gradually growing with the first southern railway line open in 1911, as well as resort residences and hotels for high-ranking royal officers beside the beach, that turned into resort town Hua Hin is now. Every year many Thai and foreign visitors visit Hua Hin, the city of magic.

During the event all tourists will have the opportunity to see Hua Hin as it was 100 years thanks to Hua Hin Centennial Celebrations & Red Cross’s Fair 2010 organized by offices of Hua Hin District and Hua Hin City Municipality.  Throughout the event there will be number of interesting activities such as 60th Royal Wedding Anniversary Procession parading from Hua Hin Clock Tower to Sibkaorai Park, classic dance with full band of Sundharaporn, Old-fashion show by 30-40 couples of Hua Hin VIP, Hua Hin Beauty Contest in old-fashioned dress, Hua Hin Art & Cultural show, music band performances, local product and food fairs.
