On Tuesday 26th September 2007 at 08.30 am residents of Nong-ta-taem Village took part in forest planting on 50 rai of public land next to the village. Chief Court Judges of Prachuab Khiri Khan Province Khun Pralom Kashane and Khun Thawatchai Wisamol and Chief District Officer have informed residents of Nong-ta-taem Village about Forest Planting Day in advance.
Khun Umnouy Soodkrasae Puyaiban is the Head of the Nong-ta-taem Model Village. The village is free of narcotic intoxication and gambling. Residents of the village restrain from quarrel and fights.
For the above reasons Khun Pralom Kashane has decided to select this village to plant the forest. He said, that the Forest Planting Day marks HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej 80th birthday anniversary.
The Nong-ta-taem Village is located 12km from Pranburi. It has land area of about 4,576 rai, there are 541 residents, male 268 , female 273 living in 126 households.
Chief District Officer Khun Thawatchai said that he is very please to visit ”Nong-ta-taem” Village. He has praised villagers’ sufficient economy approach.
After speeches, all Nong-ta-taem residents went to the land selected for forest planting. The trees were delivered by a lorry. About ten thousand trees were planted within 3 hours.
