On Saturday  25  August  2007,  at  Navy Pirom Hall,  Khun Wirach Piyapornphaibull and former member of Parliament Khun Chalermchai “Toh “ Sri-on have arranged a  Democrat Party dinner to welcome Khun Apisit Veschachiwa the Leader of Democrat Party and his team.
           
The dinner started at 5.00 pm and was attended by many guests who came from seven districts of the Prachuab Khiri Khan province. Among the guests were businessmen, villagers, policemen, government officials and local residents. The Governor Khun Prasong Pitulkisja and Vice-governor Khun Sanit Boonkohsakul were invited too. There were over 500 guests and the hall was too small to accomodate all of them.

Before Khun Chalermchai’s speech, senior journalist Khun Tuck Dechapanya gave a bouquet of flower to Khun Apisit and Khun Chalermchai on the platform. Then Khun Chalermchai has thanked the guests who have attended the Democrat Party dinner. Then Khun Apisit Veschacheewa, leader of Democracy Party gave a speech to all present at the hall. After his speech many guests come on the platform to donate money to the Democrat Party.  Just within half an hour 16 million baht was donated by the party supporters. This dinner party finished at 11pm.
