Chief District Officer announces voting rules for constitution referendum
On Friday 10 August 2007 at the Hua Hin Chief District Officer Khun Prasit has announced voting rules for the draft Constitution referendum, which will be held on 19th August 2007.
He has informed that Hua Hin about 61,000 residents and about 30,000 of them are eligible to vote in the constitution referendum. Hua Hin Municipality has arranged a polling stations with 108 voting booths for voter to fill the voting cards.
Khun Prasit again request local reporters and 10 Radio stations make announcements about the constituion referendum and encourage Hua Hin residents to vote.
The polling station 19 August 2007 will open at 08.00am and will close at 16:00pm.
Chief District Officer has explained how to vote. There are 5 steps to vote:
1. Checking the name of a person eligible to vote
2. To hold ID card
3. Collect a voting card from committee official
4. Fill the voting paper in the voting booth
5. Put the vote card by yourself to poll box
Residents eligible to vote must be 18 years old and over.
