At the beginning of the press conference 70 children from Hua Hin's schools sang five King's song. At the press conference Khun Prasong spoke about tourism in Prachuapkhirikhan Province. Prachuapkhirikhan has eight districts of outstanding beauty. Within the province there are two national parks with many caves, waterfalls, islands and fantastic beaches. During 2007 HM the King 80th Birthday Anniversary was celebrated. Next year it will be Amazing Prachuapkhirikhan 2008. Tourists from all over the world are invited to visit Prachuapkhirikhan Province. To start the campaign in style, every district will organize New Year celebrations and display of fireworks. In Hua Hin the celebrations will start on 31st December from 6pm. At 7:30pm there will New Year parade with 15 different costume themes. The start point of the parade will be Hua Hin' Tower Clock. At both sides of the Petchakasem Road Hua Hin Municipality will prepare tables for sellers. At the left hand side of Tower Clock there will be a stage for Thai traditional shows and music bands. This year will play one Thai and one foreign band. Shortly after countdown to the New Year there will be fireworks display. The Governor has announced photo competition of the fireworks display and the New Year celebrations. The best 3 photos will win prizes.
