Review of Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant Hua Hin

Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant is located on the Naresdamri Road and at the corner of Chomsin Road. Fisherman's Wharf specialises in preparing local seafood using European and American recipes.
The restaurant has a very large deck, and an air-conditioned interior, surrounded by large plate glass windows. Fisherman's Wharf has a nautical theme running throughout, from the steel doors complete with portholes, to the large Thai fishing vessel suspended from the deck roof. The furniture is teak throughout. The bar is reminiscent of an old fashioned seafood stall found on many seafronts in England.

Hua Hin's famous blue crabs are found in the three of the dishes: Maryland style crab cakes with four dips, Thai Nam Jim, Tartare, Southern Smoked Chipotle Mayo, and Tokyo Joes Teriyaki, a Blue Crab and Tiger Prawn Cocktail, and a Crab Mayo Melt, with lashing of melted cheese. Tiger prawns are stuffed with pepper jack cheese then wrapped in smoky bacon and grilled with BBQ sauce. Calamari is crisp, and served with a spicy marinara. A famous dish from the Mediterranean is Pil-Pil, and at Fishermans Wharf you get a pot of fresh sea prawns in a chilli, pepper, garlic, and tomato sauce. New England Clam Chowder, a rich creamy soup made with fresh clams, smoky bacon, diced potatoes, fresh cream and fish stock, is served in a sour dough boule, and the Tom Yang Gung is as good as anywhere. Southern BBQ fall off the bone spare ribs are served as an appetizer.
